  • Loan Underwriting: Documents and underwrites mortgage loan products, gathering and reviewing information pertaining to the applicant's income, assets, debts, and credit history to determine ability to repay the mortgage loan.
  • Application Review: Reviews new applications for completeness and inclusion of necessary documentation, determining eligibility of the loan for the selected product and investor, or more appropriate alternatives.
  • Operations Support: Manages a pipeline of active mortgage loans, prioritizing loan actions based on projected closing dates and ensuring loans close in a timely manner.
  • Client Support: Provides client support throughout the underwriting process, utilizing available resources to answer questions and develop alternatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of experience in Mortgage loan underwriting OR High School Diploma or GED and 7 years of experience in Mortgage loan underwriting.
