Strategic Director of Commercial Excellence

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Director of Commercial Excellence to join our team at Syneos Health Careers. As a key member of our Commercial Advisory team, you will play a critical role in driving commercial success and growth across our business.
Key Responsibilities- Build and Maintain Client Relationships: Develop and lead a large client book of business, building positive working relationships with clients, consulting staff, managers, leadership, and internal support teams.
- Drive Commercial Success: Achieve commercial success by actively harvesting accounts and creating leads at new accounts, soliciting support from other business units to close deals, and securing profitable business.
- Lead and Develop Client Projects: Lead and develop client relationships, ensuring the delivery of well-structured projects that exceed client expectations. Take accountability for issues that may arise and rectify those issues. Deliver projects on time and on budget.
- Meet Sales Targets: Achieve billable utilization, led book of business, and sales targets, while collaborating with others to attain overall business objectives and metrics.
- Education: MBA or a graduate degree in a life sciences field.
- Experience: 10+ years' leading Commercial / Strategic Consulting, with a focus on Commercial Strategy and product launch.
- Expertise: Known authority in marketing, portfolio and product valuation, market research and commercial strategy; able to leverage external network to improve profitable revenues and market positioning.
- Industry Experience: Recent experience working with large national and global pharmaceutical / biotech accounts.
We offer a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $250,000 to $300,000, as well as eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and / or individual performance. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health benefits, company match 401k, flexible paid time off (PTO) and sick time.
