Job Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate and caring individual to join our team as a Foster Family Support Worker. This role involves providing one-on-one support to foster children in their homes and communities, focusing on daily living, social interaction, behavior management, and communication skills.


Program Overview

Woodfords' Therapeutic Foster Care (TFC) Program provides treatment-level foster care to children with developmental and/or emotional disabilities who cannot reside with their biological family. Our program aims to promote positive relationships with the treatment team and foster families, while supporting the growth and development of children and teens.


Responsibilities
  • Provide one-on-one support to foster children in their homes and communities.
  • Focus on daily living, social interaction, behavior management, and communication skills.
  • Collaborate with the treatment team and foster families to promote positive relationships and outcomes.

Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED, and relevant life experience.
  • Must possess at least six months experience working with children and/or families.
  • Must possess a valid State of Maine driver's license and have use of a properly insured/dependable vehicle.

Benefits

Starting at $18.00 per hour, with a $375 sign-on bonus paid at 6 months of employment.
