Position Summary:

The Laundry Attendant is responsible for delivering laundry services for the Hualapai Lodge. Key responsibilities include collecting soiled linens, laundering, folding, and organizing clean laundry. The attendant must ensure that laundry equipment is maintained in a clean, safe, and functional state while adhering to safety and health protocols when handling all cleaning agents. Providing exceptional customer service is essential at all times.

Knowledge and Skills Required:
  1. Physical capability to perform tasks such as collecting laundry, washing, and folding linens. This role requires prolonged periods of standing and bending.
  2. Basic understanding of cleaning agents and chemicals, with the ability to learn and implement safety protocols and usage guidelines.
  3. Ability to frequently walk, stand, bend, and lift items weighing up to 25 pounds.
  4. Capacity to work collaboratively in a team setting while fostering positive working relationships. Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Collect laundry from various locations within the Lodge. Launder, fold, and store linens appropriately.
  2. Deliver exceptional customer service.
  3. Support Room Attendants as required.
  4. Carry out other job-related tasks as assigned.
  5. Qualifications:
  1. Effective verbal communication skills.
  2. Preference will be given to Hualapai Tribal members.
Working Conditions:

The role requires the ability to routinely walk, stand, bend, and lift items weighing up to 25 lbs. Must be available to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
