Associate Director of Residential Learning and Academic Engagement

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to serve as the Associate Director of Residential Learning and Academic Engagement. This role will lead residentially-based Learning Communities (LCs) in support of the Department of Residential Life's vision and strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Learning Communities Team and manage academic integration efforts across campus.
- Develop and implement a residential curriculum approach to engagement and education.
- Collaborate with the Executive Director of Residential Life to ensure that LCs align with established learning outcomes.
- Instill respect and foster a sense of community that creates, promotes, and supports a socially just residential environment.
- Develop and implement programs and services designed to promote student success.
- Manage multiple and competing priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Work closely with a team of colleagues to serve as a representative of the department and division.
- Master's degree in student affairs administration, higher education, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in residential education, curriculum development, and student support.
- Must have 3-5 years of supervisory experience.
- Excellent communication, writing, administrative, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and take initiative in a dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of best practices related to living and learning programs and services.
- Commitment to diversity, social justice, and fostering a collaborative multicultural environment.
- Computer proficiency, to include competency in Microsoft Access, Excel, Word, and other commonly used office software.
- Knowledge of student development theory and current trends/best practices for engaging students within a residential curriculum.
- Experience working with databases and data gathering, analysis, and interpretation.
