We are seeking a highly skilled Academic Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team at The University of Vermont. As a Clinical Scholar in Emergency Medicine, you will have the opportunity to pursue a career in academic emergency medicine and contribute to the department's academic, educational, and scholarly missions.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical care at multiple locations within our network, including the University of Vermont Medical Center and other hospitals in the region.
- Teach and supervise medical students, residents, and other learners in a variety of disciplines and healthcare professions.
- Participate in research and scholarly activities, including the development of new ideas and the publication of research findings.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of educational programs and curricula.
- Collaborate with other faculty members and departments to advance the academic and educational missions of the university.
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Emergency Medicine.
- Eligibility for licensure in the State of New York and Vermont.
- Experience in teaching, clinical, and research activities in academic emergency medicine.
- Strong preference for candidates with experience in the teaching, clinical, and research activities of academic emergency medicine.
