Job Summary

We are seeking an Advanced Imaging Patient Services Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for checking in patients, scheduling appointments, and interacting with patients, family members, visitors, and members of the healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Check in patients and schedule appointments correctly and accurately pursuant to provider scheduling protocols.
  • Schedule appointments for CT and MRIs.
  • Go through CT/MRI reports to make sure the Radiologist reads them.
  • Interact with patients, family members, visitors, and members of the healthcare team; directs patient questions and/or complaints to appropriate department; keeps patients informed; maintain efficient patient flow during the check-in and check-out process; check in outside vendors.
  • Schedule patients for follow-up office visits or procedures, log no-show appointments; assists in Document Management scanning and chart Indexing.
  • Maintain and organize lobby area at the end of the day, opening and closing duties.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Must be Flexible to Saturdays if needed.
  • Must be flexible to travel to our other sites (Phoenix and Gilbert).
  • Availability: Monday through Thursday 7:00 - 7:00 / Friday's 7:00 - 5:30 / Saturday's 7:00 - 3:00 at NG and SG.
  • Medical front desk experience (1-2 years preferred).
