Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Technician to join our team at Kodak. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to our customers in the Virginia/North Carolina region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair Kodak and multi-vendor systems, including hardware, software, and networking products.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide operator training and ongoing support to customers to ensure they are getting the most out of their equipment.
  • Manage assigned customer/territory, including customer communication, escalation, and follow-up.
  • Perform necessary servicing and preventative maintenance of equipment.
  • System installation, maintenance, and ongoing support of equipment.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to customers to resolve issues and improve product performance.
Requirements
  • A+ Certification or equivalent experience servicing PC hardware and software.
  • Associates Degree, or Certification in electrical or mechanical engineering, technical trade school studies, or equivalent experience.
  • Three or more years related field service experience.
  • Previous experience servicing similar equipment.
  • Previous experience managing a territory.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the Graphic Arts industry.
  • Knowledge of Electro-photography / Digital Printing.
  • Solid understanding of electro-mechanical devices and complex electro-optic and robotic high-tech equipment.
Work Environment

The Field Service Technician will work in a fast-paced environment, providing technical support and maintenance services to customers in the Virginia/North Carolina region. The individual must be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. The Field Service Technician may be required to travel for short- and long-term assignments, as required.
