Compensation: $30.00 - $60.00 per hour
Our proficient technicians are tasked with the upkeep and repair of intricate crane and heavy machinery, operating with minimal supervision while ensuring safety and professionalism. Key responsibilities include:
- Performing maintenance and repairs on complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems across various company-owned and client equipment, utilizing a high level of independent judgment.
- Documenting service activities accurately.
- Mentoring junior technicians.
- Demonstrating equipment functionality for customer utilization.
- Interpreting schematics and diagrams for repairs on AT Cranes.
- Adhering to all safety, health, and environmental regulations to achieve a goal of zero incidents and injuries.
- Maintaining consistent communication regarding all activities with relevant parties (both internal and external).
- Following company policies to mitigate exposure to liability.
- Participating in special projects or tasks as assigned.
- Conducting maintenance and repairs on Rough Terrain Cranes.
- Conducting maintenance and repairs on Crawler Cranes.
- Providing certified inspections for cranes.
Required Qualifications: A High School Diploma or equivalent, along with a minimum of 3 years of experience in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining cranes, preferably Grove and Manitowoc models. GMK training is essential. Candidates must be willing to travel, including overnight stays, and possess a valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications: A strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting background, particularly with cranes, extensive knowledge of crane equipment, and a deep understanding of schematics and diagrams related to AT Cranes. Candidates should own the necessary tools for the position and demonstrate strong teamwork, communication, and writing skills. Factory training certifications are advantageous but not mandatory.
Skills and Abilities: A commitment to accountability in all areas of responsibility. The ability to lead, instruct, and share knowledge with colleagues. Willingness to travel as needed within the assigned region. Capability to work at various heights. A safety-oriented mindset. Proficiency in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical assemblies, along with testing experience; attention to detail is crucial. Familiarity with Microsoft Office products and other data management systems; ability to meet deadlines and comprehend written and verbal instructions; understanding and adherence to established work rules and procedures.
