The primary focus of this role is to execute daily measurement tasks, which encompass the calibration and maintenance of both liquid and gas measurement instruments for a diverse clientele serviced by Quality Process Services. This includes sectors such as marine fuel transport, chemical manufacturing, oil refining, and various oilfield operations, both onshore and offshore.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe following duties are essential to the position, listed in order of significance:
- Dismantling and Reassembly: Take apart and reassemble measurement and instrumentation devices.
- Equipment Monitoring: Oversee and sustain the operational condition of measurement instruments.
- Fault Diagnosis: Identify and troubleshoot issues within measurement systems.
- System Overhaul: Demonstrate the ability to disassemble and reconstruct liquid and gas metering setups.
- Production Equipment Knowledge: Possess an understanding of production machinery, including separators and glycol systems.
- Calibration Expertise: Conduct calibration on all types of electronic and manual metering systems.
- Technical Proficiency: Exhibit computer skills, particularly in DOS and Windows environments.
- Task Management: Handle electronic, communication, and production responsibilities effectively.
- Physical Capability: Be able to transport tools and calibration instruments as needed.
- Professional Communication: Maintain effective communication and adhere to client instructions in a safe and professional manner.
- Mobility: Capable of commuting to various job sites as required.
- Interpersonal Skills: Display strong communication abilities and a positive attitude towards work and client interactions.
- Continuous Learning: Commit to learning new measurement techniques and attending training sessions as necessary.
- Additional Duties: Perform other related tasks as assigned.
