About the Role

This role offers a challenging opportunity to lead day-to-day finance, accounting, and payroll functions of Far West Inc. and its subsidiaries (Angayut, Far West Federal Holding, Far West Services) as an Accounting Specialist.

The successful candidate will collaborate with team members to provide necessary financial reports to senior-level managers and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

This role requires a strong understanding of financial regulations and laws, as well as proficiency with productivity tools, including Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing payments to the organization.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support business growth.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and laws.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve business objectives.
Requirements
  • Degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field preferred but relevant experience considered.
  • Knowledge and ability to use General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Payroll software applications.
  • Familiarity with GAAP.
  • Proven organizational skills and ability to maintain precise records.
  • Proficiency with productivity tools, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
