Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY: Are you seeking an opportunity to engage with the community while utilizing your financial expertise? The Alfond Youth and Community Center is in search of a meticulous and organized individual to manage billing for third-party vendors and ensure timely payment processing. This role offers flexible hours ranging from 20 to 30 hours per week, accommodating various scheduling needs. Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and execute third-party billing and private/full pay invoices on a weekly/monthly basis.
  • Conduct collections and billing prior to program or event commencement and follow up on overdue accounts.
  • Maintain follow-up procedures for outstanding balances.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of billing for childcare services, third-party payments, facility usage agreements, and other external billing requirements.
  • Foster and maintain professional relationships across all organizational levels while delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Organize and manage both physical and digital filing systems.

Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or associate degree preferred in accounting, business management, or a related discipline.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, and Outlook, with advanced knowledge preferred.
Experience:
  • A minimum of 2 years in customer service roles.
  • Previous billing experience is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with computerized accounting systems.
Work Schedule:

This position requires 20-30 hours per week, with flexible scheduling available Monday through Friday during standard business hours. Some morning and afternoon availability may be necessary.
