Position: Radiologic Imaging Specialist

Department: Imaging Services

FTE: Hours per week

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Position Overview: Join our dedicated team at Northern Light Health, where we are looking for a skilled Radiologic Imaging Specialist. This role involves operating advanced imaging equipment to produce diagnostic x-ray films as per physician directives. You will perform standard diagnostic procedures and Computed Tomography (CT) scans in alignment with established protocols and practices.

Opportunity for Growth: This position offers the chance to engage in fully digital diagnostic X-Ray procedures and receive advanced training in Computed Tomography, with potential for additional training in Mammography. Our clinical ladders program provides opportunities for staff to earn extra compensation for involvement in departmental regulatory activities.

Qualifications:
  • ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist
  • State of Maine Radiographer license
Education:
  • High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) required
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to extend body and limbs to reach items
  • Capable of lifting, moving, and loading items over 50 pounds
