As a Commercial Insurance Account Executive, your main duty will be to address client needs and manage commercial accounts. Successful candidates will exhibit adaptability, meticulous attention to detail, initiative, and exceptional communication skills to thrive in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Employ diverse prospecting techniques to identify potential clients and consistently secure appointments with qualified leads.
- Establish and nurture relationships directly with key decision-makers.
- Collaborate closely with senior account executives.
- Expand your knowledge of the insurance sector, mastering the art of converting prospects into long-term clients while building your own portfolio.
- Achieve and surpass quarterly targets through consistent new meeting activity.
- Utilize existing relationships for referrals to create new business opportunities.
- Maintain comprehensive activity records in CRM systems to generate accurate monthly reports and forecasts.
- Support senior account executives in ongoing and renewal client meetings.
- Eventually oversee your own portfolio while continuing to drive new business initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in B2B sales and/or business development is preferred.
- Self-motivation and a competitive spirit are essential.
- Experience engaging with leadership in Finance, Human Resources, Operations, or C-Suite executives is preferred.
- Ability to pinpoint high-potential target markets.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms, preferably Salesforce.
- Possession of a Utah P&C License or willingness to obtain one within two months of employment.
