Commercial Sales HVAC Product Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Professional to join our team at Hercules Industries. As a Sales Professional for HVAC Products, you will be responsible for selling, marketing, and promoting our commercial HVAC products and services within the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities- Sell and market commercial HVAC products and services to new and existing customers within the construction industry.
- Meet established sales quotas and revenue goals by selling, marketing, promoting, and demonstrating products to new customers and through additional sales to existing customers.
- Prospect for new accounts, follow up on sales leads, and maintain relationships with customers within a specified geographical territory or region.
- Pursue product applications by utilizing personal knowledge, internal specialists, vendor representatives, and other available sources.
- Establish and maintain customer relationships, learn and evaluate customer operations to aid in identifying customer objectives, requirements, and preferences.
- Develop sales and marketing proposals for customers, process product quotations, finalize contracts, and provide continuous follow-up throughout the completion of the customer's purchasing cycle.
- Coordinate and direct employee teams to obtain data and information in order to assist customers with large projects and high-tech automation issues.
- Gather and report to management, information regarding the company, competitors, pricing, products, and current and future market trends.
- Participate in sales forecasting by researching, developing, and maintaining long and short-range sales and marketing plans.
- Produce sales reports for management by monitoring, analyzing, and communicating sales data.
- Achieve and maintain technical capabilities at required levels, attend customer seminars, schools, and special promotions, and participate in sales meetings, vendor seminars, and training schools to enhance and maintain current knowledge on products, industry trends, government compliance, and related professional skills.
- Three years' sales experience with a wholesale organization selling HVAC products and services within the construction industry.
- High School diploma or GED required, two-year technical degree or more preferred.
- Must have a good driving record.
- Qualified applicants must be customer-oriented and motivated with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Experience delivering state-of-the-art product offerings and ability to keep abreast of technology trends and how they apply to real-world projects.
- Formal presentation skills within both large and small group settings.
- Strong negotiation skills with ability to influence and drive decisions to finalize the sale.
- Proficiency with MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Product and application knowledge essential.
- Ability to pass background check and drug screen.
