Key Responsibilities- Manage construction projects from planning to implementation, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget and quality standards.
- Supervise and coordinate the work of onsite personnel and subcontractors, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
- Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, and clients to ensure seamless communication and project progress.
- Negotiate with contractors to secure reasonable order costs and maintain high standards of workmanship.
- Prepare and submit internal and external reports on job status, including budget and timeline updates.
- Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring the project stays on track and meets quality and safety standards.
- Manage the budget and estimate costs, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with company policies.
- Ensure all legal requirements, building and safety codes, safety inspections, city guidelines, and local construction regulations are met.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in construction management or a related field.
- Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means, and methods.
- Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.
- Understanding of all facets of the construction process.
- Familiarity with construction management software.
- Competent in conflict and crisis management.
- Excellent time and project management skills.
- Strong team building, decision-making, and people management skills.
- Ability to plan and see the 'big picture.'
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Attention to detail and a passion for quality workmanship.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
