We are seeking applications for faculty roles within the Managerial Economics and Decision Sciences Department. This search is focused on filling an Assistant Professor position. The MEDS Department comprises faculty specializing in both theoretical and applied microeconomic principles as well as political economy. We welcome candidates from economics, political science, or closely related disciplines. The compensation package is competitive. Key selection criteria include exceptional recommendations, remarkable research potential, and outstanding teaching skills. Candidates must possess a Ph.D. by the time of employment commencement. Successful candidates will be expected to engage in innovative research, contribute to the school's Ph.D. program, and instruct both required and elective MBA courses. Applicants should demonstrate strong theoretical and quantitative skills.

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this role is $206,000-$221,000.
This salary range is applicable for a nine-month academic appointment and does not encompass summer compensation, which is negotiable.
Research discretionary funding will also be made available. Summer compensation, including from sponsored projects, may also be an option.Northwestern University has provided this pay range as a good faith estimate of what the institution reasonably expects to offer for the position.
The final salary offered to the selected candidate will be influenced by various factors, including (but not limited to) the experience and qualifications of the candidate, years since obtaining their terminal degree, training, and field or discipline; departmental budget considerations; internal equity; and external market compensation for similar roles.
