The Sales Talent Acquisition Specialist is a pivotal contributor to our organization, responsible for identifying, engaging, and securing high-caliber sales professionals who will propel our ongoing success. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of sales acumen and recruitment expertise. They will partner with executive leadership to grasp organizational requirements, devise creative hiring strategies, and ensure an exceptional candidate journey, positioning Marshall & Sterling as a premier employer for the finest talent in the industry.

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive talent acquisition plan in collaboration with hiring managers, focusing specifically on production roles.
  • Tailor and uphold a distinctive sales profile that reflects our company culture and values.
  • Identify target audiences, methods, and outreach strategies for the sales recruitment process.
  • Create compelling recruitment advertisements aimed at attracting sales candidates.
  • Utilize appropriate print and digital media channels to promote sales job openings.
  • Engage with noteworthy informal and networking referrals to enhance candidate sourcing.
  • Conduct thorough screenings of applicants to ensure alignment with our needs.
  • Coordinate interviews with shortlisted candidates on behalf of the sales team.
  • Foster strong relationships with potential candidates for future hiring needs.
  • Provide support and guidance throughout the recruitment process, facilitating objective hiring decisions.
  • Maintain accurate employee records to track hiring successes and identify future opportunities.
  • Deliver regular updates to leadership regarding the success rates and progress of filled sales positions.
  • Stay informed on industry trends to continuously enhance our recruitment strategies.
  • Maintain necessary professional certifications to comply with agency standards.
  • Build and sustain positive professional relationships with colleagues across the organization.
  • Adhere to established employee policies and guidelines.
  • Follow workflow and error & omissions procedures to mitigate risks.
  • Promptly report any errors and omissions claims or potential claims.
  • Uphold confidentiality regarding all client, staff, and agency information.
  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience as a recruiter, particularly in sales roles, or proven sales success in a related field.
  • Strong grasp of sales functions and the attributes that define a successful salesperson.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with strong recruitment instincts.
  • A college degree is preferred; a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Familiarity with human resources databases, hiring methodologies, and relevant labor laws.
  • Knowledge of key performance indicators (KPIs) for effective sales personnel.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and maintain professional relationships with colleagues and superiors.
  • Proven ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
  • High level of organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
