Your Role:

In this position, you will:

  • Plan, implement, assess, and document nursing care for assigned patients.
  • Oversee post-operative care and discharge processes for outpatients.
  • Evaluate pre-operative and post-operative patient care.
  • Procure necessary supplies, equipment, and medications for patient care.
  • Prepare and monitor patients during surgical procedures.
  • Administer medications and IV therapies.
  • Conduct follow-up calls to assess patient recovery post-procedure.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) in an acute care environment.
  • Preferred experience in ambulatory care or critical care settings.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or a Compact Registered Nursing License.
  • Preferred certifications include Certified Ambulatory Perianesthesia Nurse (CAPA) and ambulatory care certification.
