Auction Support Specialist Opportunity

This role is a part-time position, approximately 12-16 hours per week, working on-site at a Cox Automotive Manheim location. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the auctioneer on sale days, ensuring accurate and efficient recording of vehicle and customer information.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize the AS400 system to record lane and Simulcast bid amounts, enter customer data, process all sold units, and verify/enter lights.
  • Work with the auctioneer virtually to verify system information accurately represents the vehicle.
  • Verify vehicle run order to ensure the appropriate vehicle is being keyed and sold.
  • Operate the monitor virtually, working with the auctioneer to review Simulcast bids.
  • Provide arbitration and other vehicle announcements to support the auctioneer.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Less than 2 years of experience
  • Effective communication skills
  • Good problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Ability to remain focused and composed during fast-paced sale-day activities
