About the Position

The Agronomy Operations position is a key role within Skyland Grain, responsible for ensuring the efficient packaging and delivery of seed, chemical, and fertilizer products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver seed, fertilizer, and pesticides to customers' fields and farms
  • Packaging and filling of vessels of agricultural products, including NH3, liquid fertilizers, and crop protection products
  • Accurately measure, count, and store inventory of products at locations
  • Basic knowledge of agricultural products and their uses
  • Compliance with all safety and governmental regulations
  • Clean and maintain vehicles and equipment
  • Maintain clean facilities and comply with state and federal regulations
  • Attend trainings and safety meetings
  • Provide excellent customer service
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer operation skills
  • Commercial Driver's License (Class B with Hazmat endorsement) preferred
Compensation

The general compensation range for this position is $15-17 per hour, depending on experience. Skyland Grain full-time employees are eligible for the profit-sharing bonus plan.
