Field Equipment Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Equipment Operator to join our team at Helena Agri-Enterprises, LLC. As a key member of our agronomy solutions team, you will be responsible for applying herbicides and pesticides to labeled crops, operating and maintaining applicator equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities- Mix and apply herbicides and pesticides to crops in accordance with label instructions and recommendations from leaders.
- Operate and maintain applicator equipment, including performing routine maintenance and calibration tasks.
- Accurately record and maintain log books for applied acres and equipment maintenance.
- Participate in continuing education and training to maintain pesticide applicator license and stay up-to-date on industry best practices.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless execution of agronomy solutions.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience operating large equipment and a Class A or B CDL is necessary.
- Must be at least 18 years old to operate Helena equipment and/or drive a company vehicle.
- Pass a drug test and background check.
- Mechanically inclined with experience in equipment maintenance and repair.
- Qualified Applicator Certificate (QAC) is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Agricultural background and knowledge of ag pesticides.
- Ability to read field maps and use tractor-mounted field computers.
As a Field Equipment Operator at Helena Agri-Enterprises, LLC, you will work in a typical warehouse and distribution environment with moderate to loud noise levels. You will be required to work near moving equipment, be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, and chemical hazards, and be at risk of electrical shock. You will also be required to lift or move up to 100 pounds.
