Field Equipment Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Equipment Operator to join our team at Helena Agri-Enterprises, LLC. As a key member of our agronomy solutions team, you will be responsible for applying herbicides and pesticides to labeled crops, operating and maintaining applicator equipment, and performing routine maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Mix and apply pesticides, fertilizers, and chemicals to crops in accordance with label instructions and company guidelines.
- Operate and maintain applicator equipment, including tractors, sprayers, and other machinery.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating equipment, and replacing parts as needed.
- Keep accurate records of application activities, including log books and field maps.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain pesticide applicator certification and stay up-to-date on industry best practices.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience operating large equipment and performing routine maintenance tasks.
- Class A or B CDL required.
- Ability to pass a drug test and background check.
- Qualified Applicator Certificate (QAC) preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Agricultural background and knowledge of ag pesticides.
- Ability to read field maps and use tractor-mounted field computers.
Our work environment is a typical warehouse and distribution setting with moderate to loud noise levels. You will be working near moving equipment and machinery, and may be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, and chemical hazards.
