Mechanical Assembly Specialist

Shift Details:
1st Shift: Monday to Friday, 6am - 2:30pm with potential overtime

Key Responsibilities:
As a Mechanical Assembly Specialist, your role will involve the assembly of mechanical units, fabricated components, and/or electrical systems to create subassemblies, assemblies, or complete units utilizing hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures, and various equipment.
- Under general supervision, assemble components that may include sub-assemblies, manual parts, and electrical components, contributing to the completion of diverse products.
- Utilize process work instructions and testing procedures to execute tasks while monitoring and documenting related information to meet quality standards.
- Adhere to production build rates, schedules, and required cycle times.
- Prepare cartons and containers, ensuring products are ready for shipment in accordance with domestic, international, and/or customer specifications.
- Employ a variety of tools, including but not limited to: manual and power hand tools, pneumatic tools, testing equipment, presses, and measuring and cutting devices.
- Responsible for set-ups, work preparation, clean-up, and quality assurance of personal work and work area.
- Meet work schedule and overtime requirements, including weekends.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force consistently to move objects.
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing preferred.
