About Us: FAREVA is a prominent contract manufacturer specializing in pharmaceutical and personal care products. Our facility is designed for optimal efficiency, featuring a climate-controlled environment that spans over 745,000 square feet and employs a workforce of 600 dedicated professionals.
Position Overview: The selected individual will ensure the seamless and compliant operation of advanced automated machinery while fostering continuous improvement through electrical and PLC technologies. Responsibilities will include managing electronics, electrical control systems, server and process control, hydraulics/pneumatics, and basic mechanical tasks. The role may also involve direct integration with the line team to perform essential packaging functions, quality checks, and cleaning duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Area Manager to manage all aspects of current and new business production.
- Guarantee timely project completion and adherence to production schedules to meet customer demand.
- Maintain and troubleshoot various filling and packaging equipment, focusing on electromechanical operations.
- Conduct maintenance and troubleshooting of programmable logic controllers (PLC), operator interfaces, and other electronic systems.
- Perform basic electrical repairs and preventative maintenance on safety systems.
- Analyze downtime and OEE data to identify and implement improvements.
- Foster productive relationships within the production team.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards to maintain product quality.
- Oversee the Preventative Maintenance System in SAP and manage direct labor and material usage variances.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Experience in both Electrical and Mechanical trades is essential.
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years in a production/manufacturing environment, with direct supervisory experience preferred.
- Possession of a journeyman's card or electrical certification is advantageous.
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong leadership and human relations skills, including negotiation and communication.
- Technical expertise in high-speed diverse mixing and packaging equipment.
- Results-oriented mindset with familiarity in lean manufacturing principles.
- Experience in FDA or ISO regulated environments is required.
