Maintenance Engineer

Job Summary
The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for assisting with the operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment as assigned. This includes performing preventative maintenance tasks, handling guest requests, and responding to work orders in a timely and efficient manner.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a hotel or related field, with a strong understanding of maintenance procedures and safety protocols. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and a trade license is preferred. A valid driver's license and acceptable MVR are also necessary.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks, including changing light bulbs and performing minor repairs
- Handle guest requests and respond to work orders in a timely and efficient manner
- Monitor energy conservation and perform repairs as needed
- Immediately follow up on any alarms to determine the exact location and cause
Requirements
- Experience in a hotel or related field
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Trade license preferred
- Valid driver's license and acceptable MVR
