Job Flexibility:
This role offers the possibility of hybrid or fully remote work arrangements, contingent upon the candidate's ability to travel to the office or project sites as necessary.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) License is advantageous but not mandatory.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in building and industrial environments within a consulting engineering design firm.
- Familiarity with Federal and Government projects is preferred.
- Proficient in a wide array of electrical engineering designs, including power distribution, control systems, communication, and lighting design, along with the assessment of existing systems and load calculations.
- Proven track record in design, quality assurance, and construction oversight.
- Ability to think quickly and adapt in a collaborative team setting under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or BIM/Revit software.
- Capability to obtain necessary government clearances.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct research, planning, and design of various electrical systems for governmental, industrial, and commercial clients.
- Develop code-compliant plans and coordinate drawings for diverse designs, including power distribution and lighting.
- Evaluate existing electrical systems and prepare specifications.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to produce comprehensive documentation from initial design through construction.
- Conduct site visits and manage submittals, requests for information, and other project-related communications.
