Based in Erie, Pennsylvania (USA), Eriez designs, manufactures, and markets its products across six continents through 12 wholly owned international subsidiaries and a vast network of sales representatives.
About the Role:
We are seeking a full-time Regional Sales Executive to join our Midwest District Office, overseeing well-defined territories with minimal overnight travel.
In this position, you will lead efforts to develop and implement sales strategies aimed at expanding the market reach of all Eriez products tailored to specific territories and markets.
The Regional Sales Executive will report to the Regional Sales Director – North America.Responsibilities:
Deliver customer support and communication within assigned territories/markets, addressing inquiries, providing application assistance, preparing quotes, and completing specification sheets.
Build and nurture relationships with OEMs, end-users, and consulting firms within assigned territories/markets, including corporate accounts.
Represent the company at industry association meetings and trade shows to showcase our products.
Compile regular sales reports detailing sales volumes and potential opportunities.
Foster positive customer relations.
Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure timely service delivery to customers.
Stay informed about company contract procedures and product pricing.
Project anticipated sales within the territory/market.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or technical degree preferred in a manufacturing-related field, or equivalent experience with a focus on engineering, industrial technology, or manufacturing.
A minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in B2B capital equipment or industrial equipment sales, or related technical experience with OEMs, system integrators, and engineering firms is advantageous.
Self-motivated and target-oriented.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating strong independent work ethic and initiative.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, along with persuasive abilities.
Familiarity with key customer markets relevant to Eriez.
Willingness to travel within the designated territory as necessary.
A mechanical and/or electrical background is a plus, with the ability to read and interpret complex technical information, including blueprints, engineering drawings, and electrical diagrams.
A strong desire to learn about a diverse range of products and continuously enhance product knowledge.
Proficient in standard Office, CAD, and CRM software.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential.
