We are currently in search of experienced Project Coordinators to enhance our Louisiana operations. The ideal candidate will engage in diverse projects, which may encompass recreational facilities, disaster recovery efforts, infrastructure enhancements, educational institutions, and port development.

Key Responsibilities

The Project Coordinator will serve as the main liaison for key clients, ensuring effective contract and budget oversight while maintaining high standards of project quality.

Responsibilities include:

  • Management and supervision of assigned projects, including scheduling, scope definition, budget management, deliverables, and oversight of junior staff, subcontractors, and consultants.
  • Preparation and monitoring of project budgets, backlog forecasts, purchase orders, ongoing work assessments, and monthly billing for designated projects and accounts.
  • Fostering and maintaining strong client relationships, including engagement with program clients and relevant governmental bodies.
  • Formulating client account strategies that identify project opportunities and new ventures.
  • Contributing to the development of marketing strategies for potential project opportunities.
  • Actively participating in networking and professional organizations at both local and regional levels.
  • Providing leadership and guidance throughout project execution.
  • Ensuring the successful delivery of projects through innovative approaches and a commitment to client satisfaction.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or management.
  • A minimum of 20 years of relevant experience in consulting engineering, project coordination, construction, or contract management.
  • Professional registration as an AIA or Louisiana Professional Engineer is advantageous.
  • PMP and/or CCM certification is preferred.

Technical Skills:

The candidate should possess:

  • Extensive experience in managing large-scale, complex vertical or horizontal projects, including constructability assessments, schedule and budget evaluations, progress tracking, risk management, communication strategies, and stakeholder engagement.
  • A proven history of successful project and client development.
  • Experience in leading teams effectively.
  • Project management experience across various Federal, State, County, and City construction contracts.
  • The ability to interpret and understand contracts, plans, special provisions, and related documents.
  • Knowledge of State and Federal contract administration processes and procedures.
  • Capability to resolve discrepancies or issues arising from contract documents and field operations.
  • Strong communication skills to maintain productive interactions among team members, sub-consultants, management, contractors, clients, and the public.
  • Proficiency in documenting project progress, identifying potential issues, and proposing solutions proactively.
