Faculty Position at Coast Community College District

The Coast Community College District is seeking a part-time instructor to teach a variety of courses in a dynamic and diverse learning environment. As a faculty member, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our students and contribute to the district's mission of providing high-quality education and training.
Responsibilities- Teach a variety of courses, including transfer, general education, and vocational/occupational programs.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Assess student learning and provide feedback to students.
- Participate in departmental and college-wide initiatives to improve student success and retention.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum and instructional materials.
- Master's degree from an accredited institution in education or a related field.
- Valid California Community College instructor credential, appropriate to the subject.
- Experience teaching in a community college or higher education setting.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse students, faculty, and staff.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience teaching online or hybrid courses.
- Knowledge of curriculum development and instructional design.
- Experience working with diverse student populations.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
