**Job Summary**

Troon International is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Golf Operations Manager/Head Golf Professional to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the overall management and direction of our golf operations, ensuring exceptional customer service and a world-class golfing experience for our members and guests.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Assist in the development and implementation of the annual revenue plan, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Plan, promote, and direct all golf activities, including management responsibilities on a daily basis, to ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for our customers.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through effective communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution.
  • Supervise and train golf shop staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings to ensure that all team members are aware of company goals, objectives, and standards.
  • Manage inventory, merchandise, and equipment, ensuring that all areas are well-stocked and maintained.
  • Direct and promote golf operation safety programs, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for all staff and customers.
  • Participate in daily morning briefings to ensure that all staff are aware of the day's activities and any important updates.
  • Assist with group sales and bookings as needed, ensuring that all events are well-planned and executed.
  • Inspect rooms and facilities daily to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met.
  • Assist with front desk duties as needed, ensuring that all customer interactions are handled professionally and efficiently.
  • Oversee the care and maintenance of all physical assets, ensuring that all equipment and facilities are in good working order.
  • Audit inventories to assess control reliability and identify opportunities to control product costs and other expenses.
  • Prepare and monitor quarterly revenue goals and expenses, generating business volume reports and updating forecasts as needed.
  • Monitor financial reports and statements on a monthly basis, recommending effective corrective action in cases of any negative budget variance.
  • Collaborate with key managers to develop and achieve business and operating plans, ensuring that all departments are aligned and working towards common goals.
  • Assist with interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning, and directing work at all levels, evaluating performance, rewarding, and disciplining associates as needed.
  • Organize the compilation of all necessary data required to prepare annual budgets and comprehensive business plans, serving as the point-person for timely and accurate completion.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's degree (BA) or four to six years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • CMAA membership, GCSSA, or PGA/LPGA membership preferred.
  • Must have experience in the golf industry.
  • Knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications.
