Operations Manager

Michael Foods, Inc. is a leading food processing and distribution company with a strong presence in the industry. We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our West Jefferson, OH manufacturing site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement processes to maximize ownership, stewardship, safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with safety work rules and reinforce safety as a core value.
  • Oversee all daily operations, including production and manufacturing, to ensure policies and procedures are followed.
  • Develop and implement financial and non-financial objectives, including annual budgets.
  • Identify and implement strategies to improve performance, meeting and exceeding plant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in food manufacturing or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Engineering, or Management.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management.
  • Excellent problem-solving, reasoning, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze downtime and financial variance trends, identifying actions to deliver expected performance.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in Aseptic processing.
  • Dairy or beverage manufacturing experience.
