Human Resources Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Administrative Assistant to join our team at Purple Wave Auction. As the first point of contact for new hires, you will play a pivotal role in setting the tone for their journey with us.
Key Responsibilities- Onboarding: Lead weekly training sessions for new hires to explain company benefits, verify I-9 documentation, and upload to HRIS.
- Reporting: Fill out accident reports, prepare reports for workers compensation, FMLA, tuition reimbursement, and DAF.
- Documentation: Process confidential paperwork, document accidents, written warnings, and other incidents.
- Scheduling: Schedule interviews, travel arrangements, and communicate with candidates and managers.
- Communication: Communicate with new hires, book travel accommodations, and ensure a smooth onboarding process.
- Organization: Organize the optional flu clinic, assist in organizing company events and lunches.
- Additional Duties: Undertake additional assigned duties as requested.
- 3+ years of experience in an administrative role.
- Proficiency in using software.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Candidates may be requested to complete position-specific skills assessments.
- Applicants must be either a U.S. Citizen or eligible to work in the U.S.
- Requires the ability to satisfactorily complete a background check.
- Full-Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt, eligible for overtime.
- Office hours are 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday, overtime may be required.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to access various departments of a given location.
- Hourly rate varies based on experience and qualifications.
- Monthly Bonus Program - determined by the Company's monthly revenue result.
- Monthly phone stipend in accordance with the Company's cell phone policy.
- Health, Dental, and Vision starting the first of the month after 60 days of employment.
- 401(k) plan with an employer match up to 4% starting the first day of employment.
- Company-paid Life Insurance benefit of $25,000 with options to add more through employee contribution.
- Personal Time Off (PTO) annual amount of 120 hours.
- Eligible to participate in the Company Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP) after 90 days of employment.
