Your Responsibilities:
  • Support the development and execution of the Membership Marketing Strategy, emphasizing growth, retention, cross-selling, product enhancement, and campaigns to attract new visitors.
  • Oversee the daily operations and internal communications of the annual promotional strategy, ensuring alignment with the marketing objectives. This includes preparing and distributing promotional and event summary documents.
  • Investigate new offerings and evaluate their alignment with guest preferences.
  • Analyze data concerning various ticket categories and their distribution, including discounts, membership pricing, and promotional rates.
  • Recommend modifications to strategies and tactics as necessary to meet financial targets.
  • Identify and manage partnerships and promotions to enhance media outreach and frequency, supporting the annual media budget.
  • Organize revenue-generating events for the Aquarium.
  • Act as the primary contact for corporate sponsors, ensuring contractual obligations are met and value is delivered.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the marketing budget and resources allocated to the function.
  • Conduct semi-annual competitive analyses regarding product offerings, pricing, new entrants, and market conditions.
  • Assist in pre-event briefings and post-event evaluations of promotions and special events.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to generate innovative marketing concepts (e.g., content, programs, etc.).
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of special events (e.g., Shark Summer, Mermaids, etc.).
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Your Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • Over 3 years of experience in a promotions or membership role; experience in attractions, museums, sports, music, or related fields is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of brand strategy, guest satisfaction, product management, and new product development; familiarity with ticketing strategies is preferred.
  • Practical experience in the planning, management, and execution of special events is preferred.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and a creative thinker.
  • Able to work independently while also collaborating in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exhibits strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks effectively while maintaining clear and proactive communication.
  • Takes initiative and ensures efficient workflow.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal teams and external partners, handling situations with confidence and tact.
  • Ability to realize creative visions with a good artistic sense and provide constructive feedback. Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Photoshop, etc.) is preferred.
  • Demonstrates the ability to work effectively with diverse individuals.
  • Willingness to accommodate flexible work hours, including evenings and weekends.
