Job Summary

This is a Medical Assistant role responsible for providing administrative and clinical support to physicians and patients in compliance with Ohio Administrative Code. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of medical terminology and procedures, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians with patient care and administrative duties.
  • Perform routine clinical and administrative tasks as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • BLS certification.
  • 1+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant in an ambulatory setting or equivalent training.

Work Environment:

This role is part of the Ortho Trauma Grant department at OhioHealth, working a 40-hour weekly schedule with a day shift.
