Position Summary
The Construction Worker I serves as an introductory role within our team, providing essential support to the Construction Worker II (Lead) by assisting with site preparation and cleanup tasks. This position will take guidance from the Construction Worker II (Lead) as well as Superintendents and/or the Operations Manager, reporting directly to the Regional Operations Manager.
Primary Responsibilities
The key duties associated with this role include:
- Collecting materials from suppliers and delivering them to various job sites as needed.
- Preparing the job site under the direction of the lead, Superintendent, or Operations Manager.
- In the absence of the project lead, providing detailed written updates to the Superintendent or Operations Manager regarding project progress, delays, and any issues that arise.
- Maintaining a clean and organized job site, ensuring that equipment, materials, and tools are stored properly.
- Assisting the lead (Construction Worker II) with tasks such as framing, drywall installation, painting, and finishing carpentry for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
- Developing trade skills through ongoing training and education, while expanding knowledge in the field.
- Observing leads during basic electrical, plumbing, and mechanical tasks to enhance skill sets.
- Performing various tasks as assigned by the lead, Superintendent, and/or Operations Manager to facilitate project completion.
- Complying with OSHA regulations and adhering to company safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
- Participating in safety briefings and training sessions as required.
- Completing necessary documentation efficiently and submitting it to the supervisor as needed.
- Incorporating the core values of Restoration Management into daily activities.
Qualifications and Requirements

- 1-3 years of experience in a construction setting, performing various basic tasks such as cleanup and setup.
- A valid Class C driver's license is required.
- OSHA 10 and CPR training is preferred.
- Basic knowledge and experience with machinery and power tools.
- Dependability, punctuality, and reliability are essential.
- Ability to provide personal transportation and basic hand tools.
- Fluency in English is required.
Working Environment
The working conditions for this position may include:
- Lifting items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent bending, standing, reaching, and squatting.
- Potential for required overtime, including after-hours and weekend work as needed.
