Product Support Engineer

Amazon is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join the Prime Air team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the deployment of hardware and software functionality, investigating issues, and designing ground support equipment to drive delivery on a critical program across several different disciplines.
The ideal candidate will have exceptional customer focus, problem-solving skills, regulatory understanding, and the ability to convert lessons learned to requirement update requests. You will work with engineering, manufacturing, and operational functions across all Prime Air teams to drive efficient delivery and decompose ambiguous problems into straightforward solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the deployment of hardware and software functionality

Requirements:
- 4+ years of working in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience
- Experience with prototyping and implementation
- Experience in the design of complex mechanical products and equipment at volume
- Experience working on aerospace products/projects or other regulated fields like healthcare or automotive
- Experience with troubleshooting and trend analysis
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
- Knowledge of SolidWorks simulation or Ansys Finite Element analysis tools
- Experience with MRB, nonconformance processes, and quality systems
- Experience with design or redesign of integrated systems
- Familiarity with regulatory agencies and regulatory requirements

Compensation:
The base pay for this position ranges from $105,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
