Job Summary

We are seeking a Food Service Worker to join our team at Chartwells K12. As a Food Service Worker, you will be responsible for preparing, presenting, and serving food to our customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
  • Weigh and measure designated ingredients.
  • Carry pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from work stations, stove, and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards.
  • Store food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety, and rotation procedures.
  • Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils.
  • Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment.
  • Utilize approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and standard portion control.
  • Serve customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.
  • Resolve customer concerns and relay relevant information to supervisor.
  • Ensure compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
  • Assure compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.
