CareerSource Customer Service Representative I

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a CareerSource Customer Service Representative I. In this role, you will provide exceptional support to job seekers, assisting them in accessing and utilizing Employ Florida to complete job search functions, and supporting them in creating a full Employ Florida work registration.
Key Responsibilities- Exude a positive customer service focus and advocate for building an organizational culture that aligns with core values.
- Monitor and coordinate the delivery of customer service, informing candidates of available services in the office and supporting Welcome Desk activities and tracking of candidate traffic through the Atlas kiosk.
- Provide qualifying and appropriate services, including resume assistance, labor market information, assessments, interviewing assistance, referral to education, orientation to services, Employ Florida training and support, and career counseling.
- Document all referrals, services, and follow-up activities in Employ Florida in accordance with established Local Operating Procedures.
- Engage in information exchange, ensuring that job candidates are aware of and know how to access the full menu of reemployment services.
- High School diploma or equivalent and one (1) year of customer service experience; or any equivalent combination of related training and experience.
- Considerable knowledge of computer programs such as Employ Florida, Microsoft Office, and other software programs.
- Knowledge of local business community, office practices, and the operation of office equipment.
- Excellent skill in interpersonal communication, public relations, computer data entry, time management, and work organization.
- Skill in communication both oral and written, telephone and customer service, and basic sales techniques.
