Position Summary:
At CommonSpirit Health, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care to our community. Our team at CHI St. Alexius Health is seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team.

As a vital member of our staff, you will work under the guidance of the Clinical Manager, assisting in delivering high-quality nursing care to our patients.


Key Responsibilities:
1. Monitor vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration, adhering to established protocols.
2. Accurately record patient statistics such as intake and output, height, and weight.
3. Collect routine lab samples that do not require laboratory personnel.

4. Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility support.

5. Facilitate patient movement and transportation for tests or treatments as needed.


Infection Control:
Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols to prevent the spread of germs and diseases.

Monitor and report on patient progress, identifying any needs for medical intervention, and ensure a safe environment by removing potential hazards.

Keep patient rooms tidy and organized.


Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
Prior experience in healthcare is preferred.
Licensure and Certifications:
CNA Certification (ND State Nursing Assistant Registry) is required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Current CPR certification is mandatory within the orientation period and must be renewed annually. Participation in in-service training and ongoing education (12 hours CEU/year) is expected.

Possess strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Maintain a positive demeanor and embody the values of CommonSpirit Health.
