Job Title: Plant Manager

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies for improving plant efficiency using data, resources, and capabilities.
  • Collaborate with leadership to align donation collection, production, and internal distribution efforts to ensure maximum profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee efficient management of waste and salvage operations.
  • Regularly evaluate performance and labor metrics, providing continuous training and leadership development.
  • Foster a culture of professional and personal growth by working with HR and Training teams to meet organizational objectives.
  • Manage conflicts across collection, production, and distribution processes to ensure seamless operations.
  • Ensure all work processes and safety protocols are followed to maximize efficiency.
  • Complete all required reports and ensure accurate tracking of key metrics, such as donor counts and production stats.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and safety of all facilities and ensure compliance with housekeeping, safety, and security standards.
  • Participate in safety efforts to reduce accidents and ensure a secure work environment.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders to develop best practices and standards for production management.
  • Maintain company facilities, grounds, and equipment to ensure a safe and functional workspace.
  • Attend assigned training sessions and travel for work, as needed.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of plant and supervisory experience, preferably in a retail setting.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities with a track record of meeting deadlines and production goals.
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite applications.
  • Comfortable speaking to large groups.
  • Valid driver's license, and forklift certification preferred.
Physical Demands:
  • Stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls.
  • Occasionally lift and move up to 25 pounds.
  • Maintain specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
