About the Role

Nexus Enterprises is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Freight Forwarding Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for managing an assigned customer base and contributing to the development of customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage an assigned customer base and contribute to the development of customer relationships
  • Serve as the main point of contact for customers and network partners for national freight transport
  • Proactively initiate contact with customers to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues
  • Monitor shipments and provide feedback to customers on delivery status
  • Handle delivery obstacles and process complaints in a professional and timely manner
  • Prepare order data in our freight forwarding programs for smooth invoicing
  • Review invoices in electronic clearing programs and handle invoice complaints
  • Cash collection and damage reporting
Requirements
  • Completed training as a freight forwarding and logistics specialist or comparable qualification
  • Proven experience in telephone and personal customer service
  • Strong entrepreneurial mindset and service orientation
  • Previous experience in the direct freight forwarding industry
  • Fluent German and good English skills
  • Highly motivated, team player with strong communication skills and confident demeanor
