Associate Dean for Recruitment and Enrollment

The Commonwealth of Virginia is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Dean for Recruitment, Undergraduate Admissions to join our team. As a key member of the Office of Undergraduate Admission, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing data-driven strategies to support the recruitment and enrollment goals of the University.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement recruitment and enrollment activities to support the mission, values, and enrollment goals of the University and Office of Admission.
- Hire, lead, and manage a team of recruitment professionals.
- Represent the Office of Undergraduate Admission in leadership meetings and on committees around the University.
- Establish strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Participate in recruitment activities on and off Grounds.
- Evaluate first year and transfer applications for admission.
- Bachelor's degree.
- At least seven years of experience in admissions or a related field, or a total of twelve years of experience in lieu of degree.
- Ability to lead independently with confidence and compassion, analyze and solve problems, collaborate with internal and external partners, and communicate effectively.
- Understanding of current issues and trends affecting enrollment and higher education, especially at leading public universities, and familiarity with CRM systems such as Slate.
The University of Virginia offers a competitive salary range of $65,000-$90,000, commensurate with education and experience. This is an exempt level, benefited position. The University will perform background checks on all new hires prior to employment.
