We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Dean for Communications and Professional Development to join our team at the University of Virginia. As a key member of our Enrollment team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing data-driven strategies to support our recruitment and enrollment goals.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive recruitment and enrollment plans to achieve the University's mission and goals.
- Lead a team of recruitment professionals to achieve exceptional results in student recruitment and enrollment.
- Represent the Office of Undergraduate Admission in leadership meetings and on committees across the University.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and external partners.
- Participate in recruitment activities on and off Grounds to promote the University's brand and values.
- Evaluate first-year and transfer applications for admission.
- Bachelor's degree.
- At least seven years of experience in admissions or a related field, or a total of twelve years of experience in lieu of degree.
- Demonstrated ability to lead independently with confidence and compassion, analyze and solve problems, collaborate with internal and external partners, and communicate effectively.
- Understanding of current issues and trends affecting enrollment and higher education, especially at leading public universities, and familiarity with CRM systems such as Slate.

What We Offer- Competitive salary range: $65,000-$90,000.
