Job Title: Welder/Mechanic

Job Summary:
QPS Employment Group is seeking a skilled Welder/Mechanic to join our team at a company in Lincoln, NE. This is a direct hire position with a competitive salary range of $47,840-$54,080 per year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform welding tasks using various equipment, including oxy-acetylene outfits for cutting purposes.
  • Design, fabricate, and repair metalwork, including minor repair and maintenance on fleet vehicles.
  • Work in accordance with schedules, policies, procedures, and standards of quality and safety.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2 years of experience in welding with working knowledge of arc welding equipment, acetylene torches, grinders, and other tools of the trade.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Ability to frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift/move up to 100 pounds.
  • Must be able to operate with minimal supervision.
  • Must be flexible regarding work schedule.
