Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct expert troubleshooting, installation, routine maintenance, and repair of mechanical manufacturing equipment.
  • Be available to perform essential job functions outside of standard working hours.
  • Manage mechanical piping systems within the facility.
  • Apply knowledge of welding techniques, including stick, TIG, and MIG.
  • Interpret and understand mechanical and piping schematics.
  • Utilize personal computer skills and mechanical software effectively.
  • Execute rotating machine alignment tasks.
  • Possess a basic understanding of electrical systems to assist the Maintenance Electrical Technician.
  • Ensure that facilities and grounds are maintained in a clean and efficient manner.
  • Demonstrate project management skills and participate in plant projects as required.
  • Provide assistance to process operators when necessary.
  • Support the Maintenance Manager in managing parts inventory.
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Complete all tasks assigned by the Maintenance Engineer.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding all records and company matters.
  • Support all company safety, health, environmental, and quality initiatives.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment that encourages creative problem-solving and shared learning.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • A technical degree or certification in a related mechanical field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance operations is required.
  • Experience in industrial or process maintenance is essential.
  • Expertise in mechanical systems, piping, welding, and hydraulics is necessary.
  • Strong attention to detail along with excellent communication, organizational, time-management, and troubleshooting skills.
