Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct expert troubleshooting, installation, routine maintenance, and repair of mechanical manufacturing equipment.
- Be available to perform essential job functions outside of standard working hours.
- Manage mechanical piping systems within the facility.
- Apply knowledge of welding techniques, including stick, TIG, and MIG.
- Interpret and understand mechanical and piping schematics.
- Utilize personal computer skills and mechanical software effectively.
- Execute rotating machine alignment tasks.
- Possess a basic understanding of electrical systems to assist the Maintenance Electrical Technician.
- Ensure that facilities and grounds are maintained in a clean and efficient manner.
- Demonstrate project management skills and participate in plant projects as required.
- Provide assistance to process operators when necessary.
- Support the Maintenance Manager in managing parts inventory.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Complete all tasks assigned by the Maintenance Engineer.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding all records and company matters.
- Support all company safety, health, environmental, and quality initiatives.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment that encourages creative problem-solving and shared learning.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- A technical degree or certification in a related mechanical field is preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance operations is required.
- Experience in industrial or process maintenance is essential.
- Expertise in mechanical systems, piping, welding, and hydraulics is necessary.
- Strong attention to detail along with excellent communication, organizational, time-management, and troubleshooting skills.
