  • We are looking for a board certified or board eligible clinical endocrinologist specializing in obesity management at the assistant or associate professor rank.
  • This position is part of the Department of Internal Medicine within the College of Medicine.
  • The role involves caring for patients with various endocrine and metabolic disorders.
  • Specialty training opportunities are available for physicians interested in diabetes, endocrinology, and metabolism.
  • Research initiatives are encouraged in diverse fields such as bone and mineral metabolism, osteoporosis, thyroid disorders, diabetes, obesity, and lipid management.

Position Overview:

  • Work allocation: 90% clinical duties, 10% administrative and faculty development.
  • Key responsibilities include overseeing outpatient clinics dedicated to obesity and general endocrinology.
  • Engagement in inpatient consultations for a maximum of 3 months each year.
  • Shared on-call responsibilities during weekends and holidays.
  • Providing support to fellows with consultations as necessary.
  • Clinics are staffed by a committed team of healthcare professionals and support personnel.
