About the Role:
The EFI Foundation is seeking a highly skilled Communications Associate to join our team in Washington, D.C. As a key member of our communications team, you will be responsible for creating and executing strategic communications plans to promote our work to energy stakeholders and the general public.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive communications strategies to support our research and policy initiatives.
- Write and edit engaging content for various channels, including social media, blog posts, and press releases.
- Manage and maintain our website, ensuring accuracy and consistency in our online presence.
- Collaborate with our research and project teams to develop strategic communications plans and materials.
- Track and analyze communications metrics to inform future strategies.
- Provide copy editing and proofreading services to ensure high-quality content.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications or a related field.
- At least three years of experience in communications, preferably in a policy or research environment.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful communications strategies.
- Excellent writing, editing, and analytical skills.
- Experience with social media management and content creation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
