Behavior Specialist

I Am Boundless, Inc. is seeking a skilled Behavior Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing behavioral health and educational services to individuals with autism, related mental health disorders, and/or intellectual disabilities.
About the Role
This is a full-time, hourly position that requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus 3 years or more years of experience in the behavioral health, human services, or mental health field. A valid Ohio Driver's License with Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles; proof of auto insurance is also required.
Responsibilities
Your primary job responsibility will be to implement behavioral health treatment by providing intensive services based on the individual's behavioral health needs. This includes skills development, problem-solving, conflict resolution, emotions/behavior management, developing positive coping mechanisms, and managing symptoms to enhance vocations/school opportunities and/or independent living. You will also be responsible for collecting and analyzing data and records of service accurately following Boundless procedures.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have the ability to function independently, have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with individuals, staff, and support agencies. You must also be able to relate to and work with ill, disabled, emotionally upset, and at times hostile clients/family members. An estimated salary for this position is $45,000-$60,000 per year.
