Behavior Intervention Specialist

Job Title: Behavioral Intervention Specialist
Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
This position is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to provide support to individuals and their caregivers by coordinating and providing services in Applied Behavior Analysis. As a Behavioral Intervention Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the programming of and providing ongoing support and supervision to behavior technicians, direct support professionals, and parents as it relates to the implementation and documentation associated with skill acquisition and behavior support plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Function in a clinical supervisory capacity and provide oversight to all areas of programming including the training of behavior technicians, direct support professionals, school personnel, and all related providers.
- Develop and facilitate initial and follow-up training in Applied Behavior Analysis, using both discrete trial training and natural environment training models of teaching.
- Provide parent training and education on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis to be utilized with their child(ren) either through telehealth or in person.
- Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments.
- Develop Behavior Support Plans for all individuals with a focus on teaching functional replacement behaviors and other antecedent strategies for reducing problematic behavior(s).
Requirements:
- Enrolled in master's program in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Social work, Education, or related field, pursuing BCBA certification.
- Experience working with children/adolescents with a variety of psychiatric and/or behavioral disorders, including those on the autism spectrum.
